RMA Presents and Thomas DoIt Center have teamed up for the 5th annual Peckfest, West Virginia’s premier outdoor music festival. The weekend festivities take place July 5th – 6th, 2019 at the Kanawha River Campground in Point Pleasant (Mason Co). Located 5 miles northeast of Gallipolis, Ohio and 40 miles south of Athens, Ohio, Peckfest is centrally located between Parkersburg, Huntington, and Charleston, West Virginia. The venue is expected to draw a large crowd of music lovers to see Bret Michaels featuring Buckcherry and Hank Williams Jr.
There will be local artists performing throughout the day, food and sales vendors, an escape room, and various other activities. The festivities begin at noon each day and attendees are encouraged to bring your own chair. In addition to general admission, there will be a pit sectioned off directly in front of the stage. A pit pass ticket is required to enter the pit area. General admission tickets start at $55. Limited camping is available and sponsoring hotels can be found at Peckfest.com.
This year Peckfest will be crowning their first Mr & Miss Peckfest on Friday, July 5th. Numerous contestants have already entered, and voting is open to the public for $1 per vote. The male and female with the greatest number of votes by July 4, 2019 at 11:59 PM will win the title of Mr & Miss Peckfest 2019, crown and sash, $500 cash prize, a meet and greet with Bret Michaels and Buckcherry, VIP seating which includes free food and drinks in the VIP tent, weekend pit passes, and more.
There will be a Car, Truck and Bike Show on Saturday, July 6th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Show classes include Modern Truck, Muscle Car, Motorcycle, Street Rod, Classic Truck, Special Interest, Classic, and Modern Car. Trophies will be awarded for Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Peckfest Staff Choice, Queen’s Choice, People’s Choice, Best Display, and Peckfest Best in Show. The entry fee is $40, and all entries will receive a custom dash plaque.

Peckfest was created in 2015 by Point Pleasant, West Virginia native Garry Peck, who wanted to create an outdoor music festival unlike anything else in the area. With the help of family, friends and generous sponsors, Peckfest continues to grow each year.
