Sangria, a drink native to Spain, first came to the United States in the 60s. The popular party drink premiered at the World’s Fair in New York and Americans have been putting their own twist on it ever since.

Sangria, with its juicy fruit and sweet flavors, is sure to be a party hit. Plus, it’s an easy way to satiate a thirsty crowd since it’s made by the pitcher. This particular version is a very sweet one featuring peaches, raspberries, champagne and moscato.

You will need:

  •   3 cups sliced peaches
  •   2 cups raspberries
  •   1 bottle of moscato
  •   1 cup simple syrup
  •   1 cup peach schnapps
  •   1 bottle champagne

Add fruit to a large pitcher.

Combine the wine, simple syrup and peach schnapps in the pitcher and stir.

Allow to sit for at least 1 hour or over night in the fridge.

Pour equal amounts of the wine mixture and champagne into a glass when ready to serve.

Enjoy!
