WANT TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE?

We would love to hear from you! If you have an idea for an article, we ask that you email your idea to sarah@clutchmov.com or fill out this form.

Your email should include:

• An introduction and outline each of the article’s main points
• An explanation of how will your article engage our readership
• A sample of your writing, whether its from a blog, Facebook, or an essay
• Your name and contact information

We do our best to reply to each submission in a timely manner.

Accepted freelance articles should be submitted in electronic form in a Microsoft Word attachment. Writers must double-check all facts. We will not buy reprints of previously published articles, all material must be created specifically for publication in Clutch MOV.

WHAT TO PITCH

Our stories highlight local people making a difference in the Mid-Ohio Valley and uplift the culture of this place we call home. We share stories about local places, events, and projects that contribute to our quality of life. We write about local musicians and artists and celebrate their latest works. We support our local businesses and believe in shopping local to grow our economy and build our community. We publish short stories and poetry from local writers, share recipes and reviews of local restaurants. 

We are not a daily newspaper or a breaking news source. We are a community magazine for, by, and about the people of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

PHOTOGRAPHY

We work with local photographers to bring our content to life. If you would like to have your photography included in Clutch MOV or would like to be on our list of preferred photographers, please contact us at sarah@clutchmov.com and include a link to your portfolio or a few samples of your work.
