Peoples Bank (Peoples) has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity MOV to sponsor a ReStore donation drive on Saturday, April 27, 2019. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peoples’ office in Vienna, West Virginia, located at 1102 Grand Central Drive.

The public is invited to attend and bring donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods and building materials for sale in Habitat’s Restore which, in turn, are sold to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds from items sold in ReStore are used to help build Habitat houses in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

“As folks are spring cleaning and working on home remodeling projects, donating to ReStore is a great way to get rid of unwanted items while helping families in the community who are in need of a better place to live,” said Robin Stewart, Director or Resource Development, Habitat for Humanity MOV.

Representatives from Peoples Bank and Restore will be on hand to assist with donations. A Fat Tacos food truck will be on site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with food for purchase.

Habitat for Humanity MOVis a Christian ministry building safe, affordable houses in partnership with homeowner families who are committed to providing sweat equity hours and taking homeowner education courses. Once the home is completed, homebuyers pay a 0% interest mortgage payment every month. Habitat’s ReStore is open Wednesday-Saturday every week from 9-4. ReStore will pick up large donations.
