For most, the Christmas season officially begins when Santa makes his appearance at the end of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Cue the Christmas carols, tree decorating, hot chocolate, holiday shopping, and of course, Christmas Parades! Not sure when your community is hosting their Christmas Parade? Here’s a list of parades and tree-lighting ceremonies scheduled across the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Friday, November 23rd
McConnelsville: Christmas parade at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 24th
Belpre: Christmas Parade at 6:00 p.m.
Marietta: Christmas Parade at 6:00 p.m. followed by the tree-lighting ceremony 7:00 p.m., and the lighting of the Harmar Bridge
Williamstown: Christmas parade at 7:00 p.m.

Monday, November 26th
Caldwell: Christmas parade and tree-lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, November 30th
Point Pleasant: Christmas parade followed by tree-lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, December 1st
Parkersburg: Christmas parade at 2:00 p.m. followed by Winterfest from 4-6:00 p.m. and fireworks and tree-lighting ceremony at Bicentennial Park at 6:25 p.m.
Pennsboro: Christmas parade at 5:00 p.m.
Ravenswood: Christmas parade at 6:00 p.m.
Ripley: Christmas parade at 6:00 p.m.
Vienna: Christmas parade at 11:00 a.m.

Tuesday, December 4th
Vienna: Tree-lighting ceremony at the Community Building at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, December 6th
Williamstown: Tree-lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, December 15th
St. Marys: Christmas parade at 7:00 p.m.
