Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio hosts the Ohio State Old Time Fiddlers Competition on Friday, August 16th at 6:00pm and tickets are on sale now! The Ohio State Old Time Fiddling Contest is one of the premier fiddling events in Ohio. The first round of competition decides the winner of each age group, who then continue on to the championship round, and compete for the title of “Grand Champion,” as well as an additional $300 and a plaque. Register to be a competitor and get more information at paradeofthehills.org. Registrants can always change their tune selections leading up to the competition, including the day of the contest. There are 10 spots available in each age group. Depending on the total number of registrants, entries on the day of the contest may be allowed, but don’t take the chance, register today. The age groups include 12 and under, 13-18, 19-54, and 55 and over.
