So you are looking to impress a potential client, perhaps someone not familiar with the MOV?  Let them know there is more to the area than meets the eye.  To help you out, I have compiled my personal picks for the top five places to wine and dine business clients- The Dinner Edition. In my last installment, I introduced The Buckley House. This week, we talk about Mango.

I will go anywhere Chef Tere Clegg is cooking.  Mango’s Latin Bistro makes you think you have escaped the MOV and been transplanted somewhere exotic! The atmosphere is modern and sophisticated. The walls are filled with vibrant pieces from local artists, which are always changing.

Grab a glass of the house sangria, start with the Alitas En Salsa De Mango (Mango Spicy Wings) and get ready for a culinary adventure.  Fried plantains, Cuban sandwiches, stuffed arepa’s, and grilled flank steak are just a few of the choices at Mango’s.  My personal favorite is the Plantain Patacon- a dish made with ripe whole plantains topped with fresh lettuce, white cheese, spicy peppers, avocado, topped with a green cilantro sauce, with your choice of chicken or vegetarian toppings.  DELISH.

So, what’s the catch?  They are only open for dinners on Friday nights…womp, womp.  But, instead of complaining about it, do yourself and your guests a favor and get there!
