We’ve rounded up this year’s schedule across the Mid-Ohio Valley, including local haunted trails, haunted houses, and Halloween block parties. OHIO
Athens: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th at 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., followed by the Halloween Parade and Game Night at the Athens Community Center starting at 7:00 p.m. The Halloween in Athens Block Party is all day/night on Court Street, on Saturday, October 27th.
Athens Uptown Business Association (AUBA): Trick or Treat is on Monday, October 29th at 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Barlow/Vincent: Trick or Treat is on Saturday, October 27th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. “Trunk-or-Treat” is on Saturday, October 20th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Warren High School/Warren Middle School Campus in Vincent, OH.
Belpre: Trick or Treat is on Tuesday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Fall Storybook Park Festival is on Saturday, October 13th at Howes Grove Park from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., featuring storybooks, fall activities, live music, a petting zoo and much more.
Beverly: Trick or Treat is on Saturday, October 27th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Fall Storybook Park is on Saturday, October 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Dodge Park, featuring storybooks, fall games and activities, spooky stories, and much more. Bark in the Park is also from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on October 27th at Dodge Park, hosted by the Beverly Public Library and the Humane Society.
Churchtown: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Coolville: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Gallia County/Gallipolis: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.. The Fall Festival and Haunted House at the Gallia County Fairgrounds in Gallipolis is on Saturday, October 27th from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Little Hocking: Trick or Treat is on Tuesday, October 30th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Marietta: City-wide Trick or Treat is on Saturday, October 27th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. WASCO, Inc. is also hosting a Truck-or-Treat on Friday, October 26th from 6:30 pm. to 8:30 p.m. at 340 Muskingum Drive.
McConnelsville: There is a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, Costume Party and Fall Ball on Saturday, October 13th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., at Sinners N’ Saints Charities, 4177 East State Route 60.
Nelsonville: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Plains: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Racine: Trick or Treat is on Thursday, October 25th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Kids Party at the Firehouse at 7:00 p.m.
Rio Grande: Trick or Treat and Halloween Block Party on Thursday, October 25th, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
WEST VIRGINIA
Elizabeth: Trick or Treat is on Tuesday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jackson: On October 26th and 27th, check out the Haunted Trail from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This 1/2 mile walk can be found at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Cottageville, WV.
Lubeck: On Saturday, October 20th at dark, head to the Haunted Trail at the Lubeck Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets are $5.00 per person. Meet at the Fire Dept. to get your tickets and ride the hay wagon to the back of LVFD property where the Haunted Trail will start. No flashlights will be permitted on the trail.
Middlebourne: Trick or Treat is on Wednesday, October 31st, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Mineral Wells: On October 19th, 20th, 26th & 27th: 9th Annual “New Era One Room School House Museum” at the Mineral Wells Elementary School, 1838 Elizabeth Pike. Admission is $3.00 per person and includes a haunted school tour and haunted train ride.
Parkersburg: Trick or Treat is on Tuesday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Downtown PKB’s Monster Mash is on Saturday, October 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Downtown Parkersburg and is fun for the whole family.
Ravenswood: Trick or Treat is on Wednesday, October 31st, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Ripley: The Haunted House at 108 Academy Drive in Ripley is open each Friday & Saturday from 7:00 p.m. until Midnight through November 3rd. On Wednesday, October 31st, there is a Ghost Walk in Downtown Ripley, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Jackson County Courthouse.
Saint Marys: Halloween in the Park at Pleasants County Park is on Saturday, October 20th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., featuring live music, face painting, a costume contest and more.
Vienna: Trick or Treat is on Tuesday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Trick or Treat for Dogs is on Saturday, October 27th, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Dog Park at the back of Jackson Park on 34th Street in Vienna.
Williamstown: Trick or Treat is on Tuesday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
