Sometimes it can be difficult when people ask, “What is Clutch MOV?” Since our launch last March, we have grown to become much more than just an online magazine. Yes, we are still a free, online lifestyle magazine for the Mid-Ohio Valley – and we always will be. But, we also fell in love with hosting and participating in community events – and, once we put our skills to the test, we found that we love publishing a physical issue. This is something we are incredibly proud of and we are happy to announce that we will continue to produce print issues twice a year, with Issue 02 on the way this fall.

We have big plans to continue to expand as we think of new ways to give back to the Mid-Ohio Valley. We don’t see this as an identity crisis as it is a completely natural evolution. Our goals have always been the same from the very beginning – to serve the Mid-Ohio Valley. So how are we doing that?

We are proud to be a member AND partner of Marietta Main Street. We believe in helping our downtown thrive, and participate on a number of committees.

We are just as proud to be a member of the Marietta/ Washington Co. CVB because we want to share our love of the MOV with everyone else!

We are also a community partner of Building Bridges to Careers, a local non-profit dedicated to creating community networks that engage students and expand their awareness of education and career options.

We are excited to be working with Downtown PKB, the Greater Parkersburg CVB, and the Athens CVB to help promote everything great about this area we live in.

We recently became a member of the newly formed Ohio Creative Collective and we are excited to get to know other creative groups from across the state of Ohio.

In addition, our staff members belong to all kinds of local community groups and service organizations. You’ll see us volunteering at Storybook park, walking dogs at the Humane Society, and fundraising for Relay for Life. You’ll see us cleaning up our downtown communities and helping out with workshops for local businesses. You’ll see us shopping local and making an effort to support our locally owned businesses whenever possible. You’ll see us out and about during the festivals, the art walks, the 5ks.

This is Clutch MOV – we are not just a website; we are part of your community. We are not just promoting the Mid-Ohio Valley, we are actively and passionately trying to make it a better place.

And while we may not be able to write about or attend every event, we will always try our hardest and as our staff continues to grow, so will our reach. Thank you for helping us grow, we promise that your investment is worthwhile.
