Headliners are The Bash and Aftershock; Fireworks scheduled for Saturday evening

The Marietta Riverfront Roar has announced the live music lineup for the event, scheduled for the weekend of July 12 – 14th. The three-day event takes place in downtown Marietta at the corner of Greene Street and Front Street. This year is the event’s 19th year.

Friday evening, the music starts at 6 p.m. with OYO, and continues at 8 p.m. with Jinxd. The headliner for the evening is The Bash, which will play from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Saturday evening, Red Idle Rejects kicks-off the entertainment at 6 p.m., followed by The Faculty at 8 p.m. The fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m., and will be followed at 10pm by Saturday evening’s headliner, Aftershock.

JP Chandler will play in-between the bands on both days.

The music is free and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on the grass or steps at the levee (limited sightline to stage). If event goers want to be close to the stage, they may enter the beer garden (parking lot at the levee).

The Marietta Riverfront Roar is an annual outdoor event that takes place in July. Organized and produced by a group of dedicated volunteers, the Riverfront Roar’s centerpiece attraction is the boat racing, which is sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association. Marietta’s event was named the 2018 Favorite Race Site by the association. The event also includes live entertainment, activities for children, food trucks and other concessionaires, and a car show.
