20th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival

The Ohio Pawpaw Festival is a fun-filled and educational community event celebrating one of America’s largest native tree fruits, the Pawpaw. This three-day event highlights the rich history and future possibilities of the pawpaw through delectable foods, quality entertainment, unique arts, crafts and local businesses. Parkersburg, WV’s premiere fall event features many of West Virginia’s craft beers and various BBQ vendors. Live music is featured by local musicians and attendees can vote for their favorite BBQ. Date: September 15thLearn more here.

40th Annual Apple Butter Stir Off

Hosted in Belpre Civitan Park by the Belpre Lions Club, this event will feature some delicious fall food-themed competition, local vendors, and more. Date: October 13th to October 14thLearn more here.

Harvest Moon Arts & Crafts Festival

With nearly 200 vendors participating, and growing each year, the Harvest Moon Festival is the 2nd longest running festival in the state of West Virginia, attracting 6,000 visitors annually to this event in Parkersburg City Park. Date: September 15th to September 16th. Learn more here.

Volcano Days Antique Engine Show & Festival

Step back in time and experience the history of the region’s oil and gas heritage during the annual Volcano Day’s Festival at Mountwood Park. House of Wines’ Oktoberfest

First Friday: Fall Fest

Downtown Marietta’s First Friday events continue the whole year through and October’s theme is Fall Fest sponsored by WVU-Parkersburg and hosted by Marietta Main Street. Shop local, enjoy kid-friendly activities, and enjoy the cool air of an October evening. Date: October 5th. Learn more here.

17th Annual Mothman Festival

This festival celebrates the legend known only as Mothman in downtown Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Live music, guest speakers, special appearances and events, festival food, TNT Area Tours, Mothman Hayride, Mothman Museum, and much more. Date: September 15th to September 16th. Learn more here.

Monroe County Fall Festival

Primarily an agricultural event, this festival is hosted in Woodsfield and includes live entertainment, track events, truck & tractor pulls, a demolition derby, traditional pie baking & chili contests food vendors, crafts, antique and current farming equipment and implement exhibits, demonstrations and more. ArtOberfest

Downtown PKB’s ArtOberfest is back on Saturday, October 20 on Market Street in Parkersburg, featuring fine art vendors, live music with Steve Hussey Music, OYO Music, Scott Kitchen and others to be announced. Fine food and festival beer will be provided by Parkersburg Brewing Co.! Learn more here.

Monster Mash is a family-centric Halloween party made possible by Downtown PKB and local businesses and community organizations who set up to be vendors for this event.
