Every year, Marietta Main Street’s Design Committee coordinates volunteer events aimed at beautifying our downtown community. These events prepare our most walked and beloved commercial district for the spring and summer months full of events, festivals, tourism, late nights, and beautiful days.

You’ve seen the work of our volunteers before.

  • When you walk along downtown sidewalks and see well-manicured bump outs, that’s our volunteers at work.
  • When you look up the lamp posts and admire the flags flying proudly throughout our district, that’s our volunteers at work.
  • When your jaw drops at the beauty of our purple petunias hanging in flower baskets, that’s our volunteers at work.

Our volunteers mean a lot to us at Main Street. We value the time they give, their commitment to our town, and acknowledge that without them we wouldn’t accomplish nearly half of what we do. If you’ve volunteered with Main Street before, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

And we ask that you join us for one or both of our two upcoming downtown beautification days, outlined below.
