The fifth annual Washington County Harvest of Hope Farm to Table Dinner and Auction will be an evening of delicious food created by local chefs using locally grown food, live music by The Rhodes Family, tasty appetizers served by Harvest of Hope board members, desserts created by community meal cooks, and Uncle Dan’s Homemade Ice Cream.

Menu contributors include Weber’s Meat Market, Jason Ware of River Town Grille, Belair’s Bistro in Belpre, Parkhurst Catering at Marietta College, Nick Pugliese, Terri Paige of Valley Catering, Uncle Dan’s Homemade Ice Cream, community meal cooks, and a host of local farmers and volunteers. 

To-date sponsors include an anonymous donor from the Marietta Community Foundation, Peoples Bank, the Bob and Marilyn Schafer Family Fund, Marietta College, Mondo Polymer Technologies, the Singles and Doubles Class of First Baptist Church, Kiwanis Club of Marietta, Mallett Rentals, Marden Rehabilitation, and Ohio Valley Specialty.

Washington County Harvest of Hope is a faith-based, volunteer non-profit agency that GLEANS, GROWS, and GIVES food free of charge to agencies who serve hungry families in Washington County. All proceeds from this event help to support the organization’s three signature programs: Collection and distribution of food that would otherwise be discarded, the Community Gardens, and Supporting Community Meals.
