The eleventh annual Marietta Sweet Corn Festival was once again a success, bringing in thousands of folks from across the valley. While the corn – sweet, delicious corn – was the main attraction, there were plenty of other activities for the whole family. The festival featured a carousel, face painting, inflatables, and a petting zoo, to name a few. Live local music, craft vendors, and a car show were also part of the festivities. Not to mention the annual corn eating contest and of course, a cornhole tournament. All in all, over 8,300 ears of corn were sold, topping 2017’s festival by 900 ears!
