I first met Susan when she was 17 and I was 19. It was thrilling to watch her become even more of the person she always was, despite her life-long battles with fatigue and exhaustion. I hate that Scarlet has lost her Mother too early, but I’m gratified that she has her Mother as an inspiration to continue building her own life. Thanks to everyone who participated in the walk or has posted their condolences and support for Scarlet on-line and elsewhere.
