* young mothers offering food to other people’s children
* offers to shop for friends and neighbors so they need not leave their homes
* A friend arriving home from Mexico whose fridge and pantry were stocked by neighbors who do not think, worship, or vote as she does
* local restaurants providing free or low-cost meals to children and senior citizens and local people making financial contributions so the restaurants can afford to do so
* pen-pal clubs organizing to communicate with nursing home residents whose families can no longer visit in person
* musicians streaming performances that people can enjoy while self-isolating

Evidence that our better selves are prevailing at this time.
