In the meantime, since the CDC stated on April 3 that presymptomatic people can transmit the virus to others, I’m sure you won’t mind if I contribute comments to that effect. Yes, you catch it from a sick person. But you cannot tell who is sick! The governor of Georgia claimed he was unaware of this, which caused his state to have a comparatively large infection and death toll. This fact means that unless you are living with someone, do not get within 6 feet of them. Period.
